i bought this for myself(im 63) because a lamp i had in entranceway gave up the ghost and i needed something cheap just to offer a little light until i turn on the wall lamps.anyhoooooooooooo. its very dim with the red shade and the doodoodad inside the lamp that is supposed to turn with the heat doesnt work. but for $6 and what i needed i guess its okay
